Your washer has what is called a GFCI or ground fault circuit interrupt. Near the cord end there are two buttons one for testing the circuit the other for setting the breaker. If you push in the button to set the breaker and it immediately pops back up you more than likely have a failed GFCI. Check for voltage making it past the GFCI by using a voltmeter on the main power switch. You should have 110V when you test across the hot and common (white and black) wires. If not your GFCI is bad and will need to be replaced. You can purchase replacements directly from www.landanw.com.
