Toro Lawn mower, 22" push mower

I have owned the above mower for approx 2 years, I use it about once a week during the summer and maybe twice a month during the winner, I have maintained it well, however the other day it started to act up on me. The problem: It will easely start when it is cold, it will run normally for about 2-3 minutes, then it starts to sound as if it is runnig out of gas/fuel, then it stops, I am able to restart it a couple of times and it does the same but the hotter it gets the shorter the time it stays on until it just will not stay on at all. What I have done: I empty the gas tank, pour fresh gas

Answers :

It sounds like the small orifice in the fuel bowl is clogged. This could be from dirt or varnish that collect in the gasoline over the winter if you don't empty the tank and run the mover dry before storing. If you are not mechnically inclinded, take it to a dealer and they will clean out the fuel bowl. Easy 5 minuite job.
